I am a lawyer practicing in the Inland Empire and Orange County. Before becoming a lawyer, I was a candidate brother with the Legionaries of Christ, and was also in formation to be a priest with the Diocese of San Bernardino, at the Serra House. I served as an expert to the Holy See’s mission to the United Nations. I am currently practicing law in the areas of business law, estate planning, and first amendment religious liberty.
I am Blessed to serve on the Inaugural Pastoral Council of Blessed Oscar Romero and the Catholic Community of Eastvale. My Catholic faith has been a big part of my life and serving the parish will be a Blessing. I look forward to working on building our new Church and witnessing the growth of Blessed Oscar Romero.
I was born and raised in Orange County. My parents were a big part of my Catholic upbringing. I moved to Eastvale in 2002, two years after marrying my wife Liliana. We have two wonderful children, John and Anna. We enjoy our time together and are constantly on the go. I have worked for the County of Riverside for 8 years in the Information Technology department. In my spare time I enjoy playing Golf and playing my guitar. My faith has grown tremendously over the last 5 years and even more so since joining Blessed Oscar Romero. I look forward to being a part of the Church and Community that we are building together.
I am honored to be a part of the inaugural pastoral council at Blessed Oscar Romero Church. My Catholic faith has always been very important to me. I am excited to see how our parish will grow over the next several years. I hope to do my part to help our new parish become a strong faith presence in Eastvale and to help all of our parishioners grow in their faith, knowledge, and devotion to our most merciful God and our beautiful Catholic Church.
Anthony Paul Moreno joined our Blessed Oscar Romero parish council in 2017. Anthony also serves on the Blessed Oscar Romero Hospitality ministry, and is a charter member of the Blessed Oscar Romero Knights of Columbus Eastvale council serving as the Deputy Grand Knight.
He, his wife Diana, and their four children moved to Eastvale in 2007, they quickly became passionate about their community. Anthony has been involved in the growth of the city from the beginning, through the formation of the Empire Soccer Club, volunteering within the community, supporting and promoting community advancement, hosting community events, and most recently being elected to serve as VP of the ERHS Football Boosters.
Anthony feels extremely blessed to be able to serve Eastvale’s great Catholic community of Blessed Oscar Romero.

Hello, my name is José Rodriguez. I attended California State University, Fullerton and Santa Ana College. I gained knowledge and devoted my time to many volunteer opportunities that were presented to me. I have volunteered with many different organizations in the past. Just to name a few, I have worked on volunteer projects with the Corona/Norco school district and I have also been part of C.O.G (Community Outreach Group) for the Registrar of Voters in the Riverside County.
I learned many things from my past experiences and learned that a good team effort and positive attitude, even the impossible can be accomplished. Overall, I believe that our Hispanic community in Eastvale has a lot of potential to work together for the future of: Blessed Oscar Romero Catholic Church and for the future of our children.
